El Hadi

On our expedition in the Sahara in Libya we used two vehicles, even though we were just two people. When you're so far away from civilization, traveling with just one vehicle becomes a very dangerous gamble.

This is the driver of our second vehicle that carried most of the camping gear. He had a serious tooth ache and the shisha (waterpipe) seemed to have a soothing effect. The two were inseparable. Photographed after sunset using the warm glow of the campfire just outside the bottom of the frame.
