When The Stillness Comes

A selfie of me at work in the Atchafalaya Basin, USA. This was shot during our scouting trip for the world's first Cypress Swamps photo tour in Texas in Louisiana. These swamps are already quite stunning, but when you get some mist it really turns into a scene from a fairytale.

The black and white version of this image is part of a series of four pictures that won me the overall title Travel Photographer Of The Year.
